You are my Endless Memory: episode 26 ""The secret of Joon and Jumi"

While she was holding a book in her hand and walking toward her classroom, Joon was also walking toward the classroom from the opposite direction. She looked at him and dropped the book out of her hand because of shocking. Jumi opened her eyes widely as she saw Joon was wearing the white gloves which she had lost. Once he saw her, he suddenly walked toward her. But he kind of wonders why she was standing still and opening her eyes widely. He lowered and picked up the book on the floor. Then he looked at Jumi for a second and waved his hand in front of her face....

"Jumi!! Jumi!! Are you ok?"

"Ah?? Um... Yeah... I am."

Jumi was back to her sense. Joon replied....

"You don't look ok at all."

"I'm.... I'm really ok."

As they went into their classroom and took a seat, Jumi couldn't help wondering why Joon was having those gloves. Her curiosity got her to ask him....

"Ermmm.... Joon... Your... Your gloves are beautiful."

Joon looked at them and smiled...

"Really? I got them from one of the gifts I had received yesterday."

"R..Re...Rea...Really?"

"Yeah... I think I like them the most among the presents. They are so warm. I wonder who gave them to me because there was only a post card without a name on them."

Jumi was very shocked. She kept thinking of how they can be with Joon.....

Back to yesterday....

Joon was back from the basketball club. He collected the presents on his desk and beside the desk in order to take them home. There were too many presents on Joon's desk, Jumi's and between their desks. Without remembering which's whose, Joon accidentally took Jumi's present which had been put there when someone surprised her. As he got home, he put all the presents on the floor in his bed room and opened them one by one. Once he opened a white present, there were a pair of white gloves in it, with a post card written "I just wanna keep you warm Joon!.... Merry Christmas....". Joon read it and smiled faintly like he knew who that was, though there was no name on the post card.......

Back to today....

Jumi was sitting at her regular seat in the cafeteria. She was reading the book she had borrowed from the library. But her mind didn't seem to be with the book at all. She couldn't help think about Joon and the gloves. Suddenly she saw Joon walking into the cafeteria alone. She tried to hide her face with the book she was reading. Joon looked around for a second and then he walked toward a table for two in the center of the canteen. He completely got attention of everyone around. Jumi was looking at him secretly when another person walked in. She was walking back and forth, looking for a free seat. Immediately, Joon called out....

"Misa!"

She turned around and exclaimed....

"Joon senpai!"

"Are you looking for somewhere to sit?"

"Um.... yeah!"

"You can sit here. It's too crowded. It might be hard looking for a free seat."

Joon said while pointing at the chair in front of him....

"Ah? That... That's ok senpai. I think there is going to be a free seat soon."

Misa was very glad getting a chance to share a table with Joon. But she had to refuse because of the eyes around the cafeteria which were making her uncomfortable. Joon responded.....

"Come on! You won't find one until lunch time is over."

Misa couldn't refuse Joon's kindness. So she took a seat in front of Joon, though she was uncomfortable with everyone around who were staring at her. Joon smiled and put his hands on the table. Misa found the gloves on Joons hand was familiar. Immediately she was startled as she found out that those gloves were exactly the same as the ones she had seen in Jumi's room. She tried to control herself and pretended to know nothing. She spoke out after being silent for a second....

"Hmmm.... Senpai! Why are you alone today? Where are your friends?"

"They are all busy. I was thinking of inviting Jumi along but I couldn't find her anywhere. That little girl is so fast."

Joon said with a smile. Misa's expression changed a bit when Jumi was mentioned.....

"Senpai! Can... I ask you something?"

"Hmm... Sure! Go ahead!"

"What.... What do you think of Jumi senpai?"

"Jumi?!? Um.... She's a unique girl, quiet on the outside but sweet and caring on the inside. She is able to understand people's feelings very well. More than that, she's the kind of girl who keeps people around her warm."

Misa noticed that Joon's smile always appear when he mentions about Jumi. Joon continued....

"Why do you ask about her all of a sudden anyway?"

Misa stammered....

"Ah? I.. I... I just wanted to know. Because you're close to her."

"Umm.... yeah! She's the first person I know when I changed into this school. She's the closest to me."

Misa tried to change the topic because she was starting to be hurt when Joon talks about Jumi.....

"By the way senpai! It must have been boring when you missed the train on Christmas's eve night."

"Hmmm... Not at all. Because I was not alone."

"Really? Who was with you?"

"I was with Jumi."

"Jumi senpai!?!?!??"

Misa was extremely shocked and almost squirt out water from her mouth. Joon replied...

"Yeah!"

"But... But she was with Kei senpai."

"Umm... She was supposed to be on the same train as me. When the train was cancelled, she was stuck at the station with me. I thought you already know abut that."

Joon said and smiled....

Jumi had been watching them all along. She realized Joon had smiled a lot when he's with Misa. She smiled a bit and walked out of the cafeteria....

"""""Joon! Keep that smile on your face forever."""""

Back to Joon and Misa, Misa was totally speechless with what she had just heard. Joon looked at his watch and said....

"Um... It's time. I'm sorry I gotta go now. Good bye Misa."

Once Joon left, Misa started to think back of what had happened. The love magic bottles, the gloves, the Christmas date, everything is related to Jumi. Her hands were shaking and her tears were falling down.....

Joon was walking into the classroom when Jumi was sitting and looking out of the window. He walked toward his seat which is beside the window. As she saw Joon, she suddenly turned away. Joon was about to talk to her but immediately a teacher walked in.....

"Hello everyone! I've got news for you. All the classes at our school, 1st year and 2nd year classes, are going to have a school play competition next month."

"Yayyyyyyyyy!!!"

Everyone screamed out loud happily, except Joon and Jumi. The teacher continued....

"And you all will have to perform "Sleeping Beauty". Now I need to choose the cast. Please come up here one by one and take a fold paper from these two boxes, one for girls and one for guys."

The students came up one by one, until Joon's turn. He took out a paper and unfolds it....

"Um.... I got prince Phillip."

"Ayyyyyyyyyyy.... I want to be Aurora."

"Me too... Me too..."

"I want to be Aurora too."

The girls were going wild wanting to become Aurora.......

"Alright! Alright! Be quiet everyone! JUMI!!!"

"Eh? Yeah teacher!"

Jumi was a bit surprised as she was was called since she had been looking out of the window. The teacher responded...

"Come up here! It's your turn."

Jumi took out a paper and unfolded. She opened her eyes widely as she saw the name on the paper. The teacher asked....

"Jumi! Is there anything wrong?"

"Ermmmm... Excuse me teacher! Can I get another fold paper?"

"No no no... Jumi! You can't. What's wrong? Did you get Maleficent?"

"No teacher. It's not like that. I... I..."

The teacher took the paper from Jumi's hand and took a look.....

"Ahhhhhhhh.... Why you want to change Jumi? Everyone here is wishing for this role. You got Aurora!"

"Jumi got Aurora???"

"Jumi again??"

"Jumi? Aurora?"

Everyone exclaimed. Jumi looked at the floor and sighed. Teacher continued.....

"Well... Class leader! You're in charge of the crew works."

"Yes teacher!"

"So it's set. All the cast members will have to rehearse from tomorrow on after class."

As the class was over, Jumi walked out and saw Misa...

"Hey Misa!"

Jumi called her happily. But Misa just casted a glance at her and walked away. Jumi was completely ignored. She wondered why Misa had ignored her but she didn't think much because she thought Misa might have been in a bad mood.....

After class....

Jumi packed her stuffs and left the classroom. She was walking in the school hall, without realizing Joon was following her. Suddenly she saw Misa again. Jumi ran toward her and called out...

"Misa! Wait for me!"

Misa turned around and saw Jumi. She turned back and ran away. Jumi stopped and took a long deep breathe because of tiredness. She kept looking at Misa until she disappeared....

"Are you having any problems with Misa?"

Jumi turned around and saw Joon was standing behind her....

"Joon!!!"

Jumi was kind of surprised but she continued....

"I'm not having any problems with her. I wonder why she has been avoiding and ignoring me."

Joon looked at her sad face and responded...

"Don't worry! There must be something in her mind. I think she'll turn normal tomorrow."

"I hope so."

Tomorrow morning...........

Misa was walking alone in the school hall when someone spoke out....

"Misa!!"

She turned around and was about to run away. But her hand was grabbed...

"You've been avoiding me. Why are you doing this? Did I do something wrong? Just tell me!"

Jumi said with an upset voice.............................................

First windy day

Saturday/30th/October/2010

I didn't know when had I fallen asleep last night. I was extremely exhausted. Fell asleep in the living room without even taking a shower... LOL I woke up in the early morning, hearing the sound of strong wind outside the window. It was so cold. I went upstair, took a shower and put on a jumper. I went to school, came back home and went to school again. It was afternoon already but it's still cold and the wind was blowing even stronger. While I was in the class, I can see little raindrops outside the door. I couldn't help smiling as I realized my favorite season is coming in. I love this season so much since it's so much similar to autumn.... ^^ I love waking up in the morning, seeing the falling leaves, feeling the coldness and hearing the sound of the wind. It's such a memorable moment............

Weekend fairy tale

It's Saturday night. After one week of schoolworks, I finally got a little free time. Hmm.... I just finished watching a fairy tale "Beauty and the beast".... ^^ It's soooooooo soo so so sweet. I love how it starts with once upon a time and ends up happily ever after.............

Once Sakura left, Jumi was sitting all alone with many presents beside her. Suddenly, someone stopped his motorcycle in front of her. Jumi was surprised as he took off his helmet. A guy smiled at her and his protrudent teeth appeared.....

"Hi little girl! Nice to meet you again. Remember me?"

Jumi surprisingly responded....

"Haru senpai!?!"

"Eh? You remember!"

Haru got off his motorcycle and walked toward Jumi. He spoke out....

"Do you mind if I sit next to you?"

"No... No... Of course not!"

Haru took a seat next to Jumi and said....

"You're alone?"

"Ah? No... I'm with a friend. She's off to buy some drinks."

"Oh I see. You're so popular at your school, right?"

Haru said while looking at a bunch of presents on the bench. Jumi was a bit surprised with what he had asked. She smiled and replied....

"I don't think I'm popular. But I think people at my school are very kind giving me all these."

Haru laughed secretly to what she had said. He spoke to himself in his mind.....

"""This little girl doesn't even admit that she's popular. If other girls were as popular as her, they might be arrogant and proud. But this girl, not only were saying that she's not popular, she even said that people at her school are very kind. She's so different from other normal girls."""

Immediately, Jumi spoke out after being silent for a moment....

"Um.... Haru senpai! Today is Christmas day! Are you going to have a party with your family?"

Haru responded....

"Christmas day? I don't even know that today is Christmas day. What's more, I'm living in this country alone. My parents are abroad."

"What about your friends?"

"I don't have any friends."

"Eh? A group of people who came along with you the other day are not your friends?"

Haru laughed and responded....

"They're just the gang members. You don't understand about the gang life. Actually they are not my friends."

"Ah I see. You seem lonely, Haru senpai!"

Haru smiled and said....

"Obviously, I was not like this before. Because of my selfishness, I started to lose people around me one by one. I'm not a good child for my parents. I've never done anything to make them happy. Beside, I always make them unhappy. They hate me and left me here all alone."

Jumi looked at him and responded.....

"I don't think they hate you. You know there are no such parents in this world who hate their own children."

"But I don't feel like a child to them. I haven't done anything to make my parents love me. I even killed their favorite child."

Jumi was so shocked hearing that. Haru continued....

"For real, I have an elder brother but he died in a car accident 2 years ago. And yeah... It was all my fault. I'm the one who caused his dead."

Jumi could see pain in his eyes. She responded....

"How come it's your fault? It was just an accident."

Haru replied.....

"My parents love my brother so much since he is a gentle guy who studied hard and never brought any troubles into family. Unlike me, who is a gangster. I always fight with people and make my family unhappy. I'm just too useless. One day I left home for a whole day because my mum was very angry that I had fought with other students. When I was back the next day, I realized my brother had been in the hospital. I rushed there but it was too late. My parents were crying their eyes out beside a dead body on the bed. Once my mum saw me, she was extremely furious. She cried and shouted at me to get out of there. After that I realized my brother had got into the accident when he was out to look for me in the middle of the rainy night. After my brother's dead, my parents were sad everyday. Every time my mum saw me, she got angry and cried. My dad kept saying I didn't care about my own brother's dead. He's right. I'm such a heartless brother. I didn't even shed one tear drop when my brother died. After that, my dad decided to bring my mum abroad, leaving me here all alone."

After hearing Haru's story, Jumi seemed to understand his feeling a little bit more. She tried to comfort him....

"Haru senpai! I believe that one day they will forgive you since that was not completely your fault."

"Even if they forgive me one day, I still can't forgive myself."

Haru looked at Jumi for a second. He smiled and continued....

"Sounds boring, isn't it? I'm sorry. I shouldn't have brought this up. Hmmmm.... It's so cold today."

Haru tried to change the topic. He said with a smile and looked up at the sky. Jumi could see tears in Haru's eyes even he was smiling. She thought that it was sort of unexpected that Haru's life was like that.....

"No... That was not boring at all. That's great I can know a little bit more about you. By the way, does it make you feel better telling that to me? If it does, next time, when you feel down or unhappy about something, you can tell everything to me. I'm willing to listen. Because I'm your friend from now on."

Haru was so surprised with everything Jumi had said. He looked at her and saw she was smiling at him. He smiled back and said....

"Yeah... I will. By the way, I think your friend is coming back. So I'm going now. Good bye little girl. Thanks for listening to my story."

Haru said and stood up. Jumi stood up and responded....

"That's ok. Good bye senpai! Merry Christmas."

"Eh? Today is Christmas day. Right! I should have a gift for you."

Jumi was startled. She quickly responded....

"Ah? No... It's ok. You don't have to give me any gifts."

Haru smiled broadly. He took off a diamond skull earring from his left ear and handed to Jumi.

"Here! Merry Christmas!"

Jumi was really surprised. She quickly refused......

"No... No... No... Senpai! I can't......."

Haru grabbed Jumi's hand and put the earring in it. He smiled sweetly and said.....

"You're my friend, right? So you have to accept it or I'll be angry. I'm sorry! This is too small as a gift. Next time I'll get you something big."

Jumi was taken aback by what he had done and said. Haru got on his motorcycle and put on his helmet. He looked at Jumi and spoke out....

"Ah!! One more thing! Next time don't call me senpai, ok? It sounds kind of weird."

He smiled and left. Jumi was looking at the skull earring in her hand when someone said....

"Eh Hem.... Eh... I saw what was happening."

Jumi turned around and saw Sakura was giggling....

"Sakura senpai! Since when were you back?"

Sakura jokingly responded....

"Hmmm... A moment ago. Since the moment he gave you something and grabbed your hand. Heheheheh....."

"Senpai!!! He was just giving me a Christmas gift normally."

Sakura laughed out loud and continued....

"Hahahha alright! alright! By the way how did you know Haru?"

Jumi replied....

"Hmmm... It was a coincidence and there was a long story. So you know Haru senpai as well?"

"Óf course. Haru is so popular. I used to be in the same class as him before changing into our school. He's a gangster and also a genius. He's very smart and strong. There are 2 sides of him. He's a top student and also a top fighter. No one can beat him neither in studying nor fighting. He's a charming guy. Many girls fall in love with him but he never even takes his eyes to look at any of them."

Jumi responded....

"Really?"

"Yeah!! And I'm a bit surprised seeing him talking to you comfortably and even giving you a gift. More than that, he's so cold, never smile. But I saw the way he smiled at you was totally different from his characteristic. You might be the first girl who is able to see his sweet smile like that."

"Eh? There's no way he's like that. Because I think he's kind to everyone even though he's a gangster."

Sakura smiled and jokingly said....

"Nahhhh... I was telling you all the truth. You must be someone special to him."

"Senpai!"

"Ok... I was joking. But remember Jumi. All I told you was not a lie. He really acts different with you but don't worry, I'm sure he was not just pretending to be a nice guy in front of you. I think because you're different from other girls. That's why he acts different with you. Beside, though he's a gangster, he's gentle. He never pick a fight with someone first. Moreover he's incredibly strong and never gets any single scar or injure from fighting."

"But... Um.. What about the scar under his left eye?"

Sakura responded.....

"Yeah... About that, it happened 2 years ago. There was one time when he was not as strong as usual. So he was attacked seriously and there's a scar on his face up until now. No one knew the reason clearly. But during that time, there was rumor that he was having a family problem."

Jumi replied....

"Ah... I see."

Jumi thought of what Haru and Sakura had said.....

Tomorrow morning.....

Jumi got to class early as usual. She dropped by at the library to borrow a book. While she was holding a book in her hand and walking toward her classroom, Joon was also walking toward the classroom from the opposite direction. She looked at him and dropped the book out of her hand because of shocking...........................................................................

Jumi gathered her courage to put the gift on Joon's desk but she had to take it back because she had seen someone was walking into the room. A tall guy, with a bag on his back, in school uniform and sneakers was holding many presents in his both hands. He walked toward a seat next to Jumi's and smiled.....

"Good morning, Jumi!"

"Um.... Morning Joon!"

Jumi smiled and responded while hiding the present behind her back. Joon quickly noticed she was hiding something...

"Eh! Jumi! Are you hiding something behind your back?"

"Ah!! Um... No... No... Nothing!"

Joon smiled broadly and continued....

"Well... Today is club activities, right?"

Jumi responded....

"Yeah! We have no class today!"

"Hmmmm... I wanna drop by at the library for a moment before the activity. Wanna come along?"

"Um... I.. I... I've got something to do. You go, Joon!"

"Alright then!"

He looked at Jumi for a second, grabbed his bag and left, leaving all the presents on his desk. Jumi took a deep breathe and tried to put the present on Joon's desk one more time but this time she had to take it back again because she had seen Misa was walking back and forth beside her classroom's window. Jumi sighed while looking at the present in her hands.....

"JUMI!!!!"

Someone called out. Jumi surprisingly replied with her eyes wide opened.

"Yeah???"

Since she was too surprised, she quickly put the gift on the floor between her desk and Joon's. The class leader spoke to her.......

"Jumi! I got information from piano club that there are some new members so they want you to go early to get to know each other."

Jumi responded with a smile....

"Ah! yeah... I'm going! Thanks for informing."

Jumi tidied up the presents on her desk, grabbed her bag and walked out of the class....

"Misa!"

Misa turned around and exclaimed....

"Jumi senpai!"

Jumi smiled and replied....

"Merry Christmas."

Misa said with a smile....

"Merry Christmas senpai! How was the date?"

Talking about dating, Jumi started to stammer....

"Um.... It... it... it went quite well. I had fun."

"That's great. Eh! That little bottle is so cute."

Misa said while she was looking at a little bottle which was hanged on Jumi's bag. Jumi casted a glance at it and responded...

"Re...Rea... Really? By the way what are you doing here?"

"Oh?? I'm... I'm looking for Joon senpai in order to give him this."

Misa shyly said and brought out a present. Jumi smiled and replied....

"Ah! I see! Joon is in the library. Go and look for him there."

"Really? Thank you senpai!"

Misa smiled happily to Jumi.....

"You're welcome. Well... I gotta go to the piano club. See you, Misa!"

"See you senpai!"

Since the library and the piano club are in different direction, they had to go on different ways. Misa was walking and smiling happily while Jumi was walking with a pain deep inside....

Misa walked into the library and looked around for a moment. Immediately, she noticed the back of a guy who was sitting by the window. She smiled and walked toward him but what she had seen caused her to stop walking for a second. He was holding a little bottle and looked at it with a smile oh his face. Misa found the bottle was the same as the one she had seen on Jumi's bag. She couldn't help wondering but she pretended like nothing in her mind and continued walking....

"Joon senpai!!!"

He put the bottle on the table and turned around....

"Oh!! Hi Misa!"

"Why are you here alone?"

"Hmmm I just wanna drop by for a short moment before going to the basketball club. By the way I'm sorry about last night. I couldn't go since the train I was on was cancelled to travel."

Misa smiled and responded.....

"That's ok! I understand!"

Then she handed Joon a present and said....

"Merry Christmas senpai!"

"Eh? For me?"

"Yeah!"

"Thank you."

Joon smiled and accepted the present. Misa kept looking at the bottle on the table. Because of curiosity, she decided to talk about it....

"That little bottle is so lovely."

Joon looked at it and replied with a smile.....

"Really? It's a love magic bottle."

Misa surprisingly exclaimed...

"Love magic bottle?!?!???"

"Yeah..."

A strange feeling suddenly came into Misa's mind........

"Hello everyone! I'm Karam, a 1st year student."

"I'm Mika, a 1st year student as well."

"I'm Sakura, a 3rd year student."

New members of piano club were introducing themselves. As they finished, the leader spoke out.....

"Alright! Since we all get to know the new members already. Now it's time for all of you to intoduce yourself to them."

Everyone introduced themselves one by one until Jumi's turn. She smiled and bowed a bit.....

"Hello everybody! Nice to meet you. I'm Jumi, a 2nd year student."

"Eh!?! You're the school princess!!!"

A girl named Sakura spoke out loud which caused Jumi a bit surprising. Jumi responded with a smile.....

"That is just what people like to call me but I'm just an ordinary girl, like everyone else."

"Ah.... You're so modest. I think that princess name really suit you."

Without responding, Jumi just smiled sweetly......

After a whole day of club activities, Jumi left the club and walked toward her classroom in order to take the presents. She went through the door and suddenly bumped into someone's chest.....

"Ooops! I'm so sorry!"

Jumi said and looked up at a tall guy who was standing in front of her.....

"Joon!"

He smiled and responded....

"Hey! You just left the club?"

"Yeah! Joon! You're sweating so much."

"Ah? Playing basketball is pretty exhausting. By the way, are you going home?"

"Um... yeah!"

"Let's go together."

Thinking of Misa, Jumi decided to refuse....

"Um.... I... I've got a meeting with my club friends. So you go first."

"Ok then. Merry Christmas Jumi!"

Joon smiled and left. Jumi had been staring at his back until she lost sight of him. Then she walked into her classroom and took the presents. Immediately she turned surprised because she realized the present that was supposed to give Joon had disappeared. She panicked and tried to look for it but she just couldn't find it anywhere. Out of trying, she held the presents and walked out of her class. Jumi couldn't hep wondering where that present was

.....

"JUMI!!!"

Jumi turned around as someone was calling....

"Sakura senpai!"

"Are you going home?"

"Yeah!"

"Which way are you going?"

"That one!"

"Eh? We're on the same way. Let's go together."

Jumi replied with a smile....

"Sure!"

As they had been walking for quite a while, they arrived a park. Sakura spoke out....

"Jumi! Do you wanna drop by at the park for a moment?"

"Ok!"

They both walked toward a bench in the park. Jumi took a seat when Sakura said....

"I'll go get some drinks. You stay here."

Once Sakura left, Jumi was sitting all alone with many presents beside her. Suddenly, someone stopped his motorcycle in front of her. Jumi was surprised as he took off his helmet.........................................................

A wish in an ordinary night ((Catching up with the time))

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm..... It's 10:30 pm already and I'm a lil bit sleepy. =.=zZzzz I was thinking of shutting down my laptop, taking a shower, writing "You are my endless memory" and going to bed but um.... I just wanna drop by for a second. Oh well..... The time has been passing by quite fast. I just woke up a moment ago and now it's almost time for bed again. For a short time, a shiny day turned into a dark night. I've never thought time would be passing by this quick. Though, I wonder why the time has been just running quickly these last few years. LOL sounds strange? or maybe I've just noticed that it's fast while I'm trying to catch up? Losing my mind for a second, the time has already gone far far away. It's hard indeed to catch up with it. I feel like trying to catch up with someone who is running quickly ahead of me and never look back for me. So I keep telling myself not to waste any seconds becoz time never waits or looks back for me.

Um..... I can't see any stars tonight since the sky is covered by clouds but can i wish upon the stars? :"> I wish to catch up with the time........

Joon showed Jumi his empty hands. He quickly flipped his hands and closed them. He smiled and opened his left hand which had nothing. Then he opened his right hand slowly and there was a small bottle in it. Jumi suddenly exclaimed.....

"How did you do that?"

Joon smiled and responded....

"It is MAGIC."

Jumi looked at the bottle for a second and spoke out....

"Eh? This is the magic bottle we saw at the festival, isn't it?"

Joon replied....

"Yeah it is."

"How and when did u get it?"

Joon chuckled and said...

"Didn't I tell you that it's magic?"

"You did. But.... Hmmm... At least you must have bought it."

Joon laughed and responded....

"Jumi! Just think a little bit! Did you lose sight of me at the festival?"

Jumi thought for a second and she finally remembered the moment when she had lost sight of Joon in the crowd and he had said it was the punishment......

"Ahhhh.... I remember that. How fast you are!!!"

"Here! I give it to you."

Joon said with a smiled and handed Jumi the bottle. Jumi was sort of surprised. She responded....

"You're not keeping it for yourself?"

Joon took one more bottle out of his pocket and smiled....

"I have one more."

Jumi was hesitant whether to accept it or not. She spoke out in a low voice...

"Joon! You should keep it for the girl you love. Because those bottles are for couple."

Joon smiled faintly and said....

"Don't worry! They're not only for couples. Just take it and write down the name of someone you love and your love will last forever."

Jumi looked at Joon and said....

"Really?"

"Yeah!"

Jumi took the bottle from Joon and said with a sweet smile....

"Thank you Joon!"

The weather was getting colder and colder. Jumi stood up and said...

"Well... it's getting colder. I'm going to buy some hot drinks."

Joon replied....

"Let me go! You stay here!"

"Ah... No! I'll go. I'll be right back!"

Jumi smiled and left. Joon looked at her back for a second and turned his eyes to her bag on the bench......

A moment later, Jumi was back with two cups of hot chocolate milk. She gave one to Joon and took a seat on the bench. Joon spoke out........

"It's kind of strange, isn't it? You're supposed to be with Kei and I'm supposed to be with Misa. But we turned out to be together."

Jumi almost forgot about Kei and Misa. She suddenly felt guilty that she was being with Joon. Joon looked at her and asked....

"Jumi! Is there anything wrong?"

"Ah... Ah... Nothing's wrong!"

"It's really cold outside. Why don't you put on a scarf? You might catch a cold."

Jumi responded....

"Oh?? Hmm... I totally forgot about it."

Joon took off his scarf and put it on Jumi. She was taken aback. She looked at Joon once he was smiling and saying.....

"Put it on! You won't catch a cold."

She smiled and responded....

"Thank you!"

The snow started to fall down. Jumi looked up and smiled. Joon looked at her and couldn't help smiling. After taking Jumi home, Joon stood in front of her house and said....

"Good night, Jumi!"

"Good night, Joon! Thank you for tonight. I had so much fun."

She looked at the scarf on her neck and continued....

"Hmmmmm... I'll clean the scarf and return it to you. Merry Christmas."

Jumi said and walked into her house when Joon continued....

"Jumi! You can keep that scarf. Merry Christmas!"

He looked at her and smiled. Jumi was a bit surprised but she smiled back to him. Joon had been standing and watching Jumi until she walked into her house. Jumi walked in as her mother said....

"Welcome home Jumi!"

"Mum! You're not going to bed yet?"

"I can't sleep as I don't know my lovely daughter would be coming home safely or not."

Jumi smiled and responded....

"It's getting late. You should go to bed. Good night mum!"

Jumi's mother kissed her forehead and said....

"Good night my baby girl."

Jumi walked into her room. She took off the scarf and put it slightly on the bed. She suddenly thought of Kei. She opened her bag in order to get her phone but she turned surprised as she had seen something pink in her bag. She took them out and they were a pair of pink gloves with a little post card on them. It was written 'Keep yourself warm. Merry Christmas.... Joon...'. Jumi looked at them and smiled with tears flowing......

Jumi's diary entry......

"Joon! Why do you keep doing things that make me unable to get you out of my heart? I'd kept telling myself not to think about you again. But I guess I can't do that anymore."............................

A moment before that.............

At the town, Kei was sitting on a bench and kept calling Jumi though he already knew he couldn't reach her. At the same time, Misa was walking back and forth, waiting for Joon.....

Christmas day....

Each students of a high school seemed to be having so much fun exchanging presents. Jumi was walking slowly into the school hall when someone ran toward her and said while taking out a present....

"Jumi! Please accept this."

Jumi looked at a tall guy who was standing in front of her. He was giving her a present without even looking at her face. Jumi smiled faintly. She took the present from him and responded in a very sweet voice as usual.....

"Thank you! Merry Christmas."

The guy was too shy and suddenly ran away. Jumi walked toward her locker and opened it up. Immediately, many postcards fell out. She sat down and picked them up and put them in her bag.....

"As expected of the school's princess."

Someone talked to Jumi. She looked up and exclaimed.....

"Kei!!!"

She stood up and continued....

"Kei! I'm so sorry about last night."

He smiled and responded.....

"That's ok! You don't have to apologize. I know why you couldn't go. When I was back from the town last night, I realized the train you were supposed to be on had been cancelled."

Jumi was relieved. She replied with a smile...

"I'm glad you're not mad at me."

Kei took a present from his back and gave to Jumi.......

"Merry Christmas Jumi!"

"Eh? You shouldn't give me any gifts."

"Nahhhhhh.... You said it again. You're my only good friend. Giving a gift to a good friend is a right thing to do, isn't it? Please accept it!"

Jumi accepted it and responded with a lovely smile...

"Thank you so much Kei!"

Kei smiled and said....

"By the way! Are you heading to class?"

"Ah... Yeah!"

"Alright! Let's go together."

Having been walking together, Kei and Jumi arrived at their classroom. Jumi walked into her class when Kei walked toward his class. Jumi took a seat and brought out a bag which had a white present in it. She looked at it and sighed. She talked in her mind.....

"Am I crazy? Why did I take these gloves with me? Hmmmm.... What should I do? Should I give it to him?"

Jumi gathered her courage to put the gift on Joon's desk but she had to take it back because she had seen..........................................................

You are my Endless Memory: episode 22 ""A magical Christmas's eve night""

Jumi finally arrived at the train station. As she was waiting for the train, someone walked toward the bench, where she was sitting. Jumi looked up as someone was smiling at her.....

"What a coincidence!!!"

Jumi surprisingly exclaimed...

"JOON!!!"

"Eh! Jumi! Why are you alone?"

"Ah... Oh.. Kei went to the town first since I was busy having dinner with my mum. What about you? Where's Misa?"

Joon responded with a straight face....

"Um... I dropped by at the shop to buy something so I told her to go first."

"Ah... I see! So what line are you on?"

"hmmm... the next one. What about you?"

"Me too. You're going to the town as well?"

Joon smiled and responded....

"Yes! Yes I am."

"What a coincidence!"

Immediately there was an announcement in the train station....

"Dear all the passengers who will be travelling on the train line 22. Due to the heavy snow, the train line 22 will be cancelled to travel tonight. We'd like to apologize. Travelling will be turned back to normal at 11 o'clock. Thank you!"

Jumi suddenly exclaimed......

"Eh?? This can't be happening. What should we do?"

She quickly took out her phone and called Kei. She sighed and spoke out....

"I can't reach Kei. Joon! Have you called Misa?"

Joon looked at Jumi and replied....

"I can't reach her either."

Jumi hopelessly looked at the ground. Joon looked at her and asked calmly....

"Jumi! Do you wanna go with him that much?"

She looked back at him...

"Joon! It's.... It's not like that. But I feel bad as I've kept him waiting and now I can't even go nor tell him that I can't go."

She continued hopelessly....

"What should we do now?"

"There is nothing more we can do."

"Hmmmm... They must be waiting for us."

Jumi spoke out disappointedly....

10 minutes later.............

Joon looked at Jumi and said.....

"Jumi! Do you wanna sit here for the whole Christmas's eve night?"

Jumi looked at him and replied.....

"But you said there's nothing more we can do."

Joon smiled and responded....

"We can't do anything to reach them doesn't mean we can't do anything to enjoy this Christmas's eve."

End of talking, Joon grabbed Jumi's hand and dragged her along. Jumi was sort of surprised with Joon's unexpected action.....

"Joon! Where are you taking me to?"

"You'll know once we get there."

Under the beautiful lights along the street, a tall guy was holding a girl's hand tightly. They kept walking until they reached a place where was full of Christmas tree, lights, stalls and people....

"Tada!!!"

"Wow! I never knew there is such a festival here."

Joon smiled and said....

"Let's go!"

After walking and looking around for a moment, Jumi and Joon arrived at a stall.....

"Hey! Pretty girl and handsome guy over there."

An old lady called out while looking at Joon and Jumi. They suddenly exclaimed at the same time....

"Us???"

"Yes you are."

They walked toward her stall as she brought out a pair of cute little bottles which were decorated nicely with pink and white ribborn and there was a fold paper in each of them. The old lady looked at them and smiled....

"You both are such a cute couple. These are called love magic bottles. They can make your love last forever."

Jumi quickly refused....

"Excuse me! But we are not....."

Suddenly, Joon interrupted....

"Well.... How does it work?"

"It's quite simple. The bottle with white ribborn is for the guy and the bottle with pink ribborn is for the girl. You both just have to write each other's name on the piece of paper and everything's done."

Joon smiled and responded....

"This is pretty interesting, isn't it, Jumi?"

Joon looked back and realized that Jumi had disappeared....

"Eh? Where's Jumi? Hmmm excuse me!"

Joon ran around in order to look for Jumi. He finally saw her at a stall....

"Jumi! Why you left without even telling me? I was so worried. I thought you had lost."

Jumi laughed and replied....

"How old am I to get lost? I'm so sorry. I dare not to disturb you since you were so interested in those magic bottles. By the way, did you buy them?"

"I didn't. I was about to buy them but I turned around and you had disappeared."

Jumi smiled and said....

"Joon! Do you believe in that kind of things?"

Joon responded with a smile....

"Of course! I believe in miracle. Wait a second! Jumi! Don't tell me that you've never made a wish upon the falling stars."

Jumi's mind went blank for a second. Something Joon said reminded her of a memory....

(((((((("Look! Jumi! Falling stars!"........

As the boy looked at the girl, she was praying.......
"Jumi! what are u doing?"

"Shhhhhh... make a wish! It will come true!"................

The boy smiled and stared at her for a second....

"Jumi! What did you wish for?"

"I can't tell you. My mum told me that wish can not be revealed or it's not gonna come true." "Haha... ok ok! so I'm not gonna ask you then...")))))))))

Jumi looked at Joon and said....

"I ever. I used to wish upon the falling stars."

Joon smiled and replied....

"So you must believe in miracle as well. Jumi! You should believe in those kinds of things because sometime it might be real."

Jumi turned and stared at Joon who was smiling happily......

As they were walking among a huge crowd, Joon suddenly disappeared. Jumi looked around and called.....

"Joon! Joon! Where are you?"

Jumi kept calling for Joon when someone tabbed her shoulder. She turned around and saw Joon who was smiling at her....

"I'm here!"

"Joon! Where were you? I was so worried."

He chuckled and said....

"That's the punishment for making me worried about you earlier."

Jumi couldn't help smiling over Joon's childish behavior. Joon looked around and saw an old man playing a Christmas song on a guitar.....

"Jumi! Let's go over there."

As they were watching him performing, Joon spoke out....

"Jumi! Stay here!"

He said and walked toward the old man. He said something to the old man. Then he smiled and handed his guitar to Joon. He turned around and smiled at Jumi. She was kind of wondering what Joon was trying to do. Suddenly two girls walked and stopped beside Jumi. They were talking with each other.....

"Hey! Look at the guy who's holding the guitar. He's so handsome."

"Yeah... How can a guy be so adorable like that?"

Jumi accidentally heard them. She looked at Joon and noticed that he was really handsome as they had said. A tall 18-year-old guy with brown hair who was in simple clothing. Long jeans went well with sneakers, jumper and brown scarf. His pink lips kept on smiling. She was staring at him and became surprised as he spoke out among the audiences.......

"Well.... I'm going play a song. I'd like to dedicate it to everyone here for this Chirstmas's eve night. Particularly, it's especially for my friend who is also here."

Joon said as he was looking straight at Jumi. Then he started to play. Jumi was even more surprised when Joon put the guitar on his lap and played the song "My Memory" which was the song she had played earlier in the piano club. The song was being played smoothly during a winter night.....

"Joon! That was amazing!"

Joon smiled and responded....

"Eh? Really? This evening I heard someone playing that song on the piano at school. It was played beautifully. I don't know why but that sound keeps on playing in my head. It's like a magic."

Jumi was surprised once again by Joon's words. Joon casted a glance at her surprised face and smiled faintly......

After a few hours at the festival, Joon and Jumi had a seat on a bench in a park. The weather was so cold. The trees and the playground in the park were decorated with lights which were so beautiful. Jumi spoke out with a smile.....

"It's so beautiful. I'm feeling like sitting in a magic land."

Joon looked at Jumi's smiling. There hasn't been many times when he sees her happy face like that....

"Jumi! Do you believe in magic?"

"Hmmm... sometimes!"

"Ah! Really? Then watch this!"

Joon showed Jumi his empty hands. He quickly flipped his hands and closed them. He smiled and opened his left hand which had nothing. Then he opened his right hand slowly and there was..........................................
